Monterrey Yellow Pages, Vol. I and II
Monterrey is Mexico's second most important industrial center after
Mexico City, and the gateway for commerce from the USA. This capital of the state of Nuevo Leon
is in the far North of Mexico.
Monterrey is about 140 miles (225 km.) south of the border city Laredo
in the US state of Texas. This two-volume set of Yellow Pages covered a significant portion of the businesses in Monterrey.
However, six telephone directories are now published to completely cover this fast expanding city. Automotive,
steel, cement, and glass have long been the mainstays of the Monterrey economy,
which has experienced strong growth over the past several years due to NAFTA
trade and expansion.
