This is the original two-volume set of Yellow Pages for Mexico City. The Mexico City Yellow Pages provide general coverage for less than half of the businesses in Mexico City.

Many years ago, these were the only two Yellow Pages directories published for Mexico City since they covered most of the businesses. But as Mexico City increased in population, the number of phone books also increased.

By the early 1990s, eight commercial directories were needed to cover Mexico City. Today twelve directories are now published to cover one of the most densely populated cities in the world.

The original two Mexico City Yellow Pages have remained essentially the same size for many years. New directories are now available that focus on specific areas of Mexico City such as the upscale area of Polanco or specific districts (delegacion) such as Iztapalapa. These new directories have been expanding in size over the last several years.
