Description of Phone Books
Mexico has a population of over one hundred million citizens and growing with new communities being built. Just as in the USA, Mexicans are leaving the largest cities and moving to outlying regions. Mexico Phone Books reflect these changing demographics as new telephone directories are created to cover these developing community areas.
You can find each of the over one hundred directories listed below with a brief description of the city or region they cover. Unless specified, all Mexico telephone directories have a Yellow Pages section followed by the White Pages that contains residential and government listings.
TIP: Mexico Phone Books are usually published with a focus on one key city. With the exception of the largest cities in Mexico, many phone books will cover several other cities inside the directory. However, some phone books have two or more cities listed after the primary city. The listing of more than one city is a way of letting the user know that these other cities are of importance.
These cities are often centers of new economic growth and indicate the area in general is enlarging its economy. Sabinas Hidalgo may not be a widely known city, but it is an important city of transportation for the thousands of trucks that enter Mexico through the border city of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.
